Job Summary

We are looking for a well-presented, friendly, and customer-focused Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing seating arrangements, handling reservations, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome and greet guests upon arrival.
• Manage guest seating and table allocation efficiently.
• Handle reservations, walk-ins, and guest inquiries.
• Maintain accurate information regarding table availability and reservations.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
• Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager, Captain, and service team regarding table status.
• Monitor guest waiting times and keep guests informed when required.
• Handle guest requests and coordinate with the relevant team for quick resolution.
• Maintain proper guest records and reservation details.
• Ensure the entrance, reception, and waiting area are clean and presentable.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
• Assist in maintaining high standards of guest service and hospitality.
• Follow restaurant SOPs, grooming standards, and service procedures.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.
• Freshers with good communication and presentation skills may also apply.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Pleasant personality and professional grooming.
• Good guest-handling and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and courteous in a busy environment.
• Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and table management.
• Comfortable working rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
