Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and personable Host/Hostess to create a welcoming and memorable experience for our guests. In this role, you will be the first and last point of contact, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your excellent communication skills will help foster a positive atmosphere that ensures our daily operations run smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests with a friendly demeanor
• Maintain organized seating charts to optimize flow and guest satisfaction
• Manage restaurant reservations and large party inquiries using OpenTable
• Answer phone with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times, parking locations, and restaurant accommodations
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to communicate guest needs and special requests effectively
• Maintain a clean and welcoming front desk

Skills/Requirements

• Proven experience as a host/hostess in fine dining or upscale restaurant environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage reservations, waitlists, and seating efficiently
• Familiarity with restaurant table management systems
• Effective communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear verbal interactions
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced setting
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Pay: $17.00 per hour
