Host/Hostess

We are looking for a naturally warm, upbeat Host/Hostess to join our Louisville team. If you love meeting new people, creating a great first impression and working with a friendly, energetic team, you will feel right at home here.

Job details

• Pay: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Location: Louisville, KY
• Work setting: On-site
• Start date: Immediate start preferred, although notice periods of up to four weeks can be considered

Creating a brilliant welcome

• Greet visitors and guests with a friendly, professional attitude
• Check guests in and notify the appropriate team member of their arrival
• Answer incoming calls and direct enquiries to the correct department
• Offer refreshments and help guests feel comfortable while they wait
• Prepare reception, meeting and visitor areas before appointments
• Support meeting room bookings and assist with internal events
• Accept deliveries and keep the front-of-house area organised
• Respond calmly and helpfully to general questions or unexpected requests
• Work closely with colleagues to create a positive office atmosphere
