Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive. Your main goal is to ensure smooth seating arrangements, manage reservations efficiently, and provide excellent guest services. Duties

• Welcome guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to optimize table utilization.
• Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Answer phone calls politely, handle inquiries about wait times or reservations, and communicate effectively with guests.
• Maintain an organized waiting list and coordinate with servers to ensure timely seating.
• Support food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness of host/hostess stations and adhering to hygiene protocols.
• Assist in managing restaurant table systems to track seating and availability accurately.
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally throughout their dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role within a restaurant setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening abilities.
• Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and table counts accurately.
• Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards to ensure guest well-being.
• A positive attitude with a passion for providing outstanding guest services and creating memorable dining experiences.

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
