Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage their seating preferences to optimize flow and guest satisfaction
• Handle speakeasy reservation management efficiently using our table management systems, including Micros POS or similar platforms
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing accurate information and taking reservations while maintaining proper phone etiquette
• Coordinate with serving staff to ensure timely seating and smooth service flow throughout busy hours
• Maintain organization of waiting lists, reservation logs, and guest information to support efficient restaurant operations
• Uphold food safety standards by adhering to cleanliness and hygiene protocols in all guest interactions
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, managing special requests, and fostering positive guest relations

Experience

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems.
• Strong communication skills, including phone communication and etiquette, are vital for success in this role
• Demonstrated organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow effectively
• Basic math skills for handling seating arrangements and reservation counts accurately
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards will enhance your ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
