Host/Hostess

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced person to join our Host team on a 2 month contract (November - December). The Host role plays a crucial part in our business and needs friendly, organised and outgoing people as you will be the first face for the business. You will be responsible for managing day to day bookings, keeping the seating arrangements in order and ensuring a smooth transition from one booking to the next.

Responsibilities:

• Managing customer enquiries & being confident in the back office.
• Welcoming guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Being able to multitask and being organised.
• Arranging and producing signage for bookings/events.
• Managing the bookings queue and seating guests swiftly and efficiently.
• Organising and ensuring the smooth running of cloakrooms for larger events.
• Aiding in organising events, managing pre-orders, organising packages and tokens.
• Stepping in to assist the floor team during busy periods.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Host in a similar venue.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Great communication skills.
