Host/Hostess

We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. If you have excellent communication skills and enjoy providing exceptional customer service, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly smile upon arrival

• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus

• Assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space

• Manage waitlists and reservations using POS (Point of Sale) or Aloha POS system

• Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations

• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and lobby area

• Help resolve any guest concerns or complaints in a professional manner

• Provide general assistance to guests as needed

Skills:

• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or guest relations is preferred

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent problem-solving skills to handle guest concerns or complaints

• Familiarity with POS or Aloha POS systems is a plus

• A positive attitude and willingness to help create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests

• Proficent in OpenTable Reservation Software
