Host/Host

Duties:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
• Escort guests to their tables
• Assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
• Manage waitlist and accurately estimate wait times for guests
• Answer phone calls and provide information about restaurant services
• Take reservations and record guest information
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth dining experience for guests

Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Familiarity with Toast or similar restaurant point-of-sale systems is a plus
• Knowledge of food service industry practices and standards
• Strong customer service and hospitality skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests in a professional manner
• Proficient in phone etiquette and handling multiple phone lines
