Job Summary

Lunya is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Host / Hostess to welcome guests, manage seating arrangements, and create a positive first impression for every visitor. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and customer service skills and be comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest seating arrangements
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus
• Communicate estimated waiting times and seating availability
• Answer guest questions about the restaurant and dining experience
• Coordinate with servers and management to maintain smooth service
• Monitor table availability and help manage dining room flow
• Answer phone calls and assist with reservation inquiries
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming entrance and waiting area
• Follow restaurant service, safety, and hospitality standards

Requirements

• Previous Host / Hostess, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, professional, and dependable
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong attention to detail and guest satisfaction
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
