About the Role

Maro's Bistro is looking for a welcoming, energetic, and composed Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to learn the flow of a busy restaurant.

You will help set the tone for the guest experience by balancing warmth, organization, and efficiency even during high-volume service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth, confidence, and professionalism
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating flow
• Communicate clearly with servers and management
• Maintain a calm and positive attitude during busy periods
• Support the front-of-house team as needed
• Create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests

Qualifications

• Minimum hosting or customer service experience preferred
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and people skills
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Willingness to learn and grow in hospitality
• Smart serve required
