Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly as they arrive, providing a positive first impression of the restaurant
• Manage reservation bookings using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times and reservation availability
• Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times clearly to guests
• Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and provide excellent guest relations throughout their visit
• Support food service staff by ensuring smooth guest flow and timely seating arrangements

Requirements

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role within a restaurant or hospitality environment
• Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist calculations, and guest billing support when needed
• Familiarity with food safety standards and hospitality best practices
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests efficiently
• Ability to remain energetic, professional, and courteous in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
