Something new is coming to Trinity, Florida, and we're building our opening team from the ground up.

Roma Social is a brand-new, chef-driven restaurant built on two things: food worth talking about, and hospitality so genuine our guests won't find it anywhere else. We call it uncommon hospitality, and we're hiring for every position in the building, front and back of house.

Open interviews, no appointment needed:

Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Host/Hostess and become the welcoming face of our vibrant restaurant! In this lively role, you’ll create a warm, inviting atmosphere by managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your energy and organizational skills will ensure every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality expertise while contributing to memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive customer service.
• Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Toast
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and minimize wait times.
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries while practicing excellent phone etiquette.
• Maintain clear communication with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth guest flow and timely service.
• Uphold food safety standards and ensure guest comfort throughout their visit.
• Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal skills and effective phone communication.
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Toast Is a plus.
• Basic math skills for handling seating counts, reservations, and billing procedures.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and restaurant operations enhances your ability to serve guests effectively.
• Previous experience in guest services or hospitality roles will help you excel in creating positive guest experiences.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 35.0 per week
