Job Summary

Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen in Miami is seeking an enthusiastic, professional Host / Hostess to welcome guests and create an excellent first impression. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, communicates confidently, and can keep the front-of-house experience organized in a busy, upscale restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, professional service from arrival to departure.
• Manage the waitlist, reservations, and seating arrangements.
• Escort guests to their tables while coordinating seating with servers.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to general restaurant inquiries.
• Communicate estimated wait times and reservation details clearly.
• Maintain accurate reservation records using the restaurant's booking system.
• Coordinate with servers and managers to balance table availability and guest flow.
• Respond courteously to guest questions and escalate concerns when necessary.
• Keep the entrance, host stand, and waiting area clean and organized.
• Follow restaurant service standards and maintain guest confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Comfortable using reservation systems and basic computer applications.
• Previous hosting, customer service, or restaurant experience is preferred.

Duties

• Prepare the host station before service begins.
• Review reservations, special requests, and seating plans.
• Manage guest arrivals and maintain an orderly waiting list.
• Keep the service team informed about seating changes and guest needs.
• Assist with guest inquiries and support smooth front-of-house operations.
• Complete shift handover and closing tasks as assigned by management.

The team aims to deliver an energetic dining experience with attentive hospitality and high service standards.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
