Job Summary

In this lively role, you’ll be the welcoming face of our establishment, guiding guests to their tables, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service. Responsibilities

• Greet guests with enthusiasm and professionalism as they arrive, providing a friendly and inviting atmosphere
• Manage reservation bookings and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring they are comfortable and informed about menu options or specials
• Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, handling inquiries and reservation requests clearly and promptly
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize seating arrangements and reduce wait times
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and waiting area
• Assist with guest inquiries or concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent communication skills to resolve issues effectively

Experience

• Previous experience in guest services, food service, or hospitality is highly preferred
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including POS systems like Micros POS, is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone
• Experience in serving or restaurant environments enhances understanding of guest needs and flow management
• Knowledge of hotel or hospitality industry standards is advantageous but not required
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $17.95-$20.00 per hour
