Host/Hostess

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team here at Cattleman's Club Steakhouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and ensuring smooth communication between the front of the house and the kitchen. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and enhancing guest relations within our establishment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
• Maintain an organized seating chart to optimize dining flow.
• Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times, menu options, and special requests.
• Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with inquiries and reservations.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally, striving for resolution.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Future POS, is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional service.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
