Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage their seating preferences with enthusiasm and professionalis
• Maintain organized waitlists and coordinate with servers to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction
• Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, providing information about wait times, reservations, or menu inquiries
• Assist guests with seating arrangements, special requests, and guest relations to enhance their overall experience
• Support food safety standards by maintaining cleanliness in the host station and adhering to hygiene protocols
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient table management and smooth restaurant operations

Requirements

• Previous host/hostess experience or food service experience preferred; a passion for hospitality is essential
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently via phone and in person
• Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow effectively
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, wait times, and guest counts accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant operations is a plus
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude and professionalism
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
