Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using established table management systems such as Tock/Resy
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
• Answer incoming phone calls with clear communication, providing wait times, reservation details, and general inquiries while maintaining excellent phone etiquette
• Maintain organized waitlists and communicate effectively with guests regarding their wait times or table availability
• Assist in managing restaurant flow during peak hours by coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service
• Uphold food safety standards and ensure guest relations are prioritized through attentive service and positive interactions

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service environments is a plus, demonstrating strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Tock/Resy is preferred
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear verbal interactions
• Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow efficiently
• Basic math skills for handling seating calculations and reservation adjustments
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and hospitality best practices to ensure a safe dining environment
• Previous experience with POS systems is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for specific platforms used in our restaurant
• A friendly demeanor combined with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
