Duties

• Greet guests with a friendly and positive attitude, providing excellent customer service from arrival to departure
• Manage restaurant reservation systems and coordinate seating to optimize flow and reduce wait times
• Answer phone calls professionally, handle reservation inquiries, and communicate wait times clearly using proper phone etiquette
• Maintain organized waitlists and seating charts using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously
• Support food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness and proper handling of guest areas
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle phone conversations confidently and professionally
• Familiarity with restaurant reservations OPENTABLE
• Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow efficiently
• Demonstrated customer service ability with a friendly, energetic demeanor that enhances guest experiences
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards to ensure a safe and welcoming environment

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
