Position: Host/Hostess
Emily’s Garden is seeking a warm, organized, and hospitality-driven Host/Hostess to be the welcoming face of our restaurant. In this role, you’ll set the tone for each guest’s experience—greeting visitors with genuine enthusiasm, managing reservations and seating, and ensuring a smooth flow between the front and back of house.

We’re looking for someone who loves connecting with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in creating a memorable first impression. If you’re friendly, professional, and enjoy working in a lively outdoor setting, we’d love to meet you!

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and manage seating in a friendly, efficient manner
• Organize reservations and walk-in traffic to optimize table flow
• Communicate clearly with servers and kitchen staff about guest seating and timing
• Answer phones, assist with inquiries, and provide accurate information about the restaurant and events
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the host stand and entry area
• Support the team by assisting with guest needs during busy service
• Ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and cared for from start to finish

Requirements:

• Prior host, server assistant, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Positive attitude and professional appearance
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a high-energy environment
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Comfortable working outdoors in a garden-style setting
