Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest satisfaction
• Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information and taking reservations when needed
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely seating and guest comfort throughout their visit
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting areas in accordance with food safety standards
• Use POS systems to update reservation statuses and assist with guest billing or inquiries as necessary
• Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, managing waitlists, and fostering positive guest relations

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally via phone and in person
• Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist management, and guest billing processes
• Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, seating plans, and guest flow efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety practices and restaurant operations is advantageous
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a friendly demeanor in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $10.00 - $18.00 per hour
