Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, creating a positive first impression.
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort.
• Answer incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, providing information and taking reservations accurately.
• Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate wait times clearly to guests.
• Assist with guest inquiries regarding menu items, restaurant policies, and special requests to enhance their experience.
• Support food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness and proper handling of reservation materials and guest areas.
• Maintain a clean work area
• Maintain restrooms clean and free of debri

Experience

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with restaurant operations.
• Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with guests, team members, and management effectively
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Basic math skills are necessary for managing reservations, seating calculations, and POS transactions.
• Knowledge of phone communication best practices and phone etiquette to provide professional guest interactions.
• Previous experience in hospitality or guest services roles will support success in creating memorable guest experiences.

Pay: $16.90 - $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
