Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will ensure guests feel valued and comfortable, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience. You will manage reservations, coordinate seating arrangements, and assist with guest inquiries to maintain smooth restaurant operations. Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, providing exceptional guest services from arrival to departure
• Manage restaurant reservation systems and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
• Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, assisting with reservations, wait times, and general inquiries
• Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate wait times clearly to guests while managing expectations
• Support food service staff by ensuring timely seating of guests and assisting with guest needs throughout their visit
• Uphold food safety standards and restaurant policies to ensure a clean and safe environment for both guests and staff
• Use restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to track reservations, seating, and guest information accurately

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle phone calls professionally and courteously
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, waiting lists, and guest flow efficiently
• Basic math skills for handling guest counts, wait times, and reservation details accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant operations is a plus
• Ability to remain energetic, positive, and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Hospitality experience that demonstrates guest relations skills is highly valued
