Job Overview

As a Host/Hostess, you’ll create a welcoming first impression and help guests move smoothly from arrival to seating. You’ll manage reservations, coordinate table availability, and communicate with guests and restaurant staff to keep service organized and attentive. Duties

• Greet guests, manage reservations, maintain waitlists, and provide updates on seating.
• Use restaurant table management systems to coordinate table availability and seating flow.
• Answer calls with professional phone etiquette, handle reservation questions, take to-go orders, and share accurate information.
• Communicate guest needs and seating updates to service staff; support guest relations throughout arrival.
• Use basic math and Toast point-of-sale (POS) system

Qualifications

• Customer service, guest services, communication, and organizational skills.
• Host/hostess, restaurant, or food service experience; hospitality experience is valued.
• Comfortable with restaurant reservation management, phone communication, and table management systems.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems; Toast POS experience is a plus.
• Awareness of food safety practices and a professional, guest-focused approach.

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
