Gather on Market is hiring Hosts to join our team!

At Gather on Market, we're creating a welcoming neighborhood gathering place where great food, drinks, and genuine hospitality bring people together.

We're looking for friendly, energetic, and dependable individuals who enjoy meeting new people and helping create memorable dining experiences.

As a Host, you'll be the first person our guests meet when they walk through the door and the last person they see when they leave. Your positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to keep things running smoothly will help set the tone for every guest's visit.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests and make them feel welcome.
• Manage the waitlist, reservations, and seating arrangements.
• Seat guests efficiently while maintaining balanced server sections.
• Communicate accurate wait times and keep guests informed.
• Answer phone calls and assist with general guest questions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming entrance and host station.
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables when needed.
• Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and management.
• Help resolve guest concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Support the team wherever needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stay organized and calm during busy shifts.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week

Work Location: In person
