Host/Hostess/Busser

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Host/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent guest services, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and assisting with the overall dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart.
• Assist servers by clearing tables promptly and efficiently after guests leave.
• Ensure that dining areas are clean, well-stocked, and presentable at all times.
• Provide support to the kitchen staff as needed, including refilling supplies and assisting with food service.
• Handle phone calls professionally, taking reservations or answering guest inquiries as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
• Uphold high standards of customer service to enhance the overall dining experience for guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is an asset but not required.
• Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others are crucial for success in this role.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
