Duties

• Greet guests with a friendly, energetic demeanor as they arrive, making them feel valued and comfortable
• Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate booking and seating arrangements
• Coordinate guest seating to optimize table utilization while maintaining a positive guest experience
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries while practicing excellent phone etiquette
• Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate wait times clearly to guests
• Assist with guest services by addressing special requests or concerns promptly and courteously
• Support food safety and sanitation standards by ensuring the front-of-house area remains clean and welcoming at all times

Skills

• Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles with strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Strong organizational skills to handle reservations, seating flow, and guest inquiries efficiently
• Basic math skills for managing waitlists, tables, and billing processes when needed
• Knowledge of restaurant operations including POS systems and food safety protocols
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive guest relations
• Hospitality mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence

Pay: $13.73 - $15.00 per hour
