Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional customer service.
• Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Answer incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette, addressing inquiries and directing calls appropriately.
• Coordinate seating arrangements and manage waitlists to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction.
• Assist with guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Support food service operations by maintaining cleanliness, adhering to food safety standards, and assisting staff as needed.
• Utilize POS systems to process orders accurately and handle transactions smoothly.
• Maintain organized front desk area, ensuring all materials are stocked and accessible for team members.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Experience managing restaurant reservations and familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing registers.
• Knowledge of POS systems, including Aloha POS or Micros POS, is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of food safety protocols and guest service best practices.
• Hospitality experience that demonstrates a commitment to guest satisfaction and team collaboration is a plus.
