Job Summary

We are seeking energetic and personable Hosts to create a welcoming and seamless experience for our guests from the moment they arrive. As a vital first point of contact, you will manage reservations, coordinate seating, and ensure efficient flow within the restaurant. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize table utilization
• Manage restaurant reservation systems and walk-in guest flow using platforms such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times, reservations, and restaurant policies
• Maintain organized waitlists and communicate effectively with guests regarding their seating status
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service transitions and timely seating
• Uphold food safety standards and restaurant policies while handling guest requests or concerns
• Support guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, ensuring a positive first impression at all times

Experience

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management tools and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear verbal interactions
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and billing procedures
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards is a plus
