Job Summary

We are seeking energetic and personable Hosts to create a welcoming and seamless experience for every guest. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for managing reservations, greeting guests with warmth, and ensuring smooth seating and waitlist procedures. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will set the tone for a memorable visit, fostering guest satisfaction and loyalty. Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly attitude, providing excellent customer service from arrival to departure
• Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Maintain an organized waitlist and seating chart to optimize table turnover and reduce wait times
• Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing accurate information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries while practicing proper phone etiquette
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and guest flow
• Uphold food safety standards by adhering to hygiene protocols during guest interactions
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized host station and lobby area to enhance the guest experience

Requirements

• Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle phone calls and guest interactions confidently
• Knowledge of restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is desirable
• Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements effectively
• Basic math skills for handling tables, bills, and reservation counts accurately
• Experience with POS systems including Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
• Demonstrated hospitality mindset with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and positive attitude
• Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures

Pay: From $18.15 per hour
