Job Summary

We are seeking energetic and friendly Hosts/Bussers to join our vibrant restaurant team! Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservation check-ins using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Assist with seating guests efficiently, managing waitlists, and updating reservation statuses with excellent organizational skills
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand and dining areas to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
• Support servers by bussing tables promptly, resetting tables efficiently, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld
• Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate seating arrangements and guest needs
• Assist in maintaining guest relations by providing friendly, attentive service that enhances overall satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
• Strong communication skills, including clear phone communication and excellent customer service abilities
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, table counts, and POS transactions
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure guest well-being
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment while multitasking effectively
• Hospitality or restaurant experience that demonstrates guest relations skills is highly valued

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
