Job Summary:

IHOP is seeking friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Hosts/Servers to join our team. The Host/Server is responsible for creating a welcoming dining experience by greeting guests, seating customers, taking food and beverage orders, serving meals, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout each guest's visit. Flexible part-time and full-time schedules are available.

Responsibilities:Host Duties:

• Welcome and greet guests upon arrival with a friendly attitude.
• Manage waiting lists and accurately quote wait times.
• Seat guests promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized front entrance, lobby, and dining area.
• Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries.
• Work closely with servers and management to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Server Duties:

• Present menus and explain daily specials and promotions.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly while ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Check on guests throughout their dining experience.
• Process cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned tables and work areas.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist team members as needed during busy periods.

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, mornings, evenings, and/or overnight shifts as needed.

Schedule:

• Part-Time: 15–30 hours per week
• Full-Time: 30–40+ hours per week
• Morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts available.
