Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Host/Server to join our lively team. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our restaurant, ensuring guests feel valued from the moment they arrive. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and create memorable experiences through outstanding customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills in a fast-paced, fun environment.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly, manage reservations using OpenTable or similar systems, and seat them promptly
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while upselling menu items like cocktails, wine, or specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, including sales transaction processing and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation, beverage service, and basic kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a memorable dining experience

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and sales processing
• Strong multitasking abilities with excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment
• Culinary knowledge including beverage service, spirits experience, wine knowledge, and cocktail preparation is highly desirable
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing sales efficiently
• Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation standards in the food industry
• Effective communication skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently and foster guest loyalty
• Experience working in fine dining or nightclub settings is a plus but not required
