Host/Server

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Host/Server, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while efficiently managing their dining needs.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff using the POS system.
• Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding food and drink options.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests, checking in periodically to ensure satisfaction.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, maintaining positive guest relations at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
• Assist with other restaurant duties as needed, including hosting or serving during peak hours.

Skills

• Previous experience as a host/host or server in a restaurant environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests warmly and professionally.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Experience in food service or hospitality settings is highly valued.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of phone etiquette for handling reservations or guest inquiries is beneficial.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $23.00 per hour
