Host/Server

Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Server. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable from start to finish. Duties:

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
• Seat guests and provide them with menus
• Take food and drink orders accurately
• Enter orders into the POS (Point of Sale) system (Square)
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
• Ensure tables are clean and prepped before seating guests
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
• Answer guest inquiries and provide recommendations on menu items
• Process guest payments accurately
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth service

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred
• Knowledge of POS systems, such as Square, is a plus
• Ability to handle food safely (food handler's permit required)
• Strong sales skills to upsell menu items a big plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Must be a team player and willing to help out in various areas of the restaurant as needed
• Exceptional customer service skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $7.25 - $20.51 per hour
