Host/Server

Overview:
We are seeking a warm and welcoming Host/Server to join our team, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a memorable dining experience. As a Host/Server, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their stay with your friendly demeanor and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests upon arrival, answering any questions they may have and providing assistance with reservations and seating arrangements.
• Manage the front-of-house, including coordinating with the kitchen and servers to ensure prompt and efficient service.
• Take orders and manage tables using Aloha POS, ensuring that all orders are accurate and timely.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring that all areas meet our high standards.
• Help with opening and closing procedures, including setting up and cleaning up the dining area.
• Assist with guest relations, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a restaurant or hotel environment, preferably in a host or server role.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with guests and colleagues.
• Knowledge of guest services and the importance of hospitality.
• Proficiency with Square and other restaurant management systems.
• Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Friendly and welcoming demeanor, with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
