Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
• Process sales transactions efficiently while upselling menu items like cocktails, wines, and specialty dishes to enhance the guest experience
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
• Assist with food handling and preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and process payments using POS systems like OpenTable or other restaurant technology

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in restaurants, fine dining establishments, or nightclubs is highly preferred
• Some knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends; previous host/hostess or bussing experience is a plus

Pay: $11.92 - $30.00 per hour
