Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations using OpenTable or similar systems, and seat guests efficiently to minimize wait times
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Toast POS and process sales transactions smoothly
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including wine and spirits, to enhance guest experience through upselling techniques
• Serve food and beverages with professionalism, ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and beverage service standards are maintained
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff with basic food preparation when needed
• Handle cash transactions accurately while processing payments and giving correct change
• Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving any concerns with a positive attitude

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as host/hostess or server is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems like Toast POS, or similar platforms
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation is a plus
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $12.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
