Duties

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff using POS systems such as Square.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
• Uphold restaurant policies regarding health and safety regulations while providing excellent guest services.

Experience

• Previous host/host experience or food service background is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Experience in restaurant or hotel settings is advantageous.
• Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent phone etiquette.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed.
