Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Seat guests promptly, ensuring optimal table utilization and guest comfort.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems, relay them to kitchen staff, and ensure timely service delivery.
• Prepare and serve food items as needed, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
• Handle guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing information about menu options, wait times, and special requests.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting tables and ensuring proper sanitation practices.
• Assist in coordinating guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Must be able to work weekends
• Must be 19 or older
• Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles with strong customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette.
• Basic math skills for handling bills, payments via POS systems, and managing cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures in a restaurant environment.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous experience working with guest services or in restaurant operations is highly desirable.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 15.0 per week

Work Location: In person
