Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing excellent guest relations and ensuring a positive first impression
• Manage restaurant reservation systems efficiently to accommodate guest requests and optimize seating arrangements
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating proper phone etiquette and clear communication skills
• Assist with restaurant table management using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to coordinate seating and service flow
• Support the host team in maintaining organized waitlists, seating charts, and reservation logs
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and courteously
• Uphold food safety standards and cleanliness protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff

Requirements

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle phone calls confidently and courteously
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems like Micros POS is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, billing, and POS transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality principles to enhance guest experiences
• Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding guest services and foster positive guest relations
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
