Hotel Assistant General Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Assistant General Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure exceptional guest experiences. Duties

• Oversee all aspects of daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments
• Supervise and motivate hospitality teams to deliver outstanding guest services in line with hotel standards
• Manage hospitality management systems such as Property Management Systems (PMS) and reservation platforms to ensure seamless booking and guest check-in processes
• Implement revenue management strategies to maximize occupancy rates and profitability
• Monitor and manage hospitality operations budgets, including financial planning, cost control, and expense tracking
• Lead human resources functions such as staffing, training, performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with employment laws
• Maintain high standards of guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring exceptional customer service at all touchpoints

Experience

• Proven supervisory experience within the hospitality industry, ideally in hotel or resort settings
• Strong background in hotel management, including overseeing daily operations and managing hospitality teams
• Demonstrated expertise in revenue management, budgeting, and financial operations within a hotel environment
• Proficiency with property management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, multi-line phone systems, and front desk procedures
• Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a global clientele effectively
• Prior experience in human resources management, guest services standards enforcement, and handling night audit procedures is preferred
