Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all items are fresh, appealing, and properly arranged
• Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu items, and provide friendly in-person customer service
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, food preparation zones, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing procedures
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including warming trays, coffee machines, and food dispensers
• Handle food safety protocols diligently by following sanitizing procedures and proper food handling practices
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure an abundant and organized buffet presentation
• Support food preparation tasks such as slicing fruit or assembling breakfast items under supervision
• Follow dietary guidelines and accommodate guest requests related to dietary restrictions or preferences
• Assist with weight handling in the workplace when setting up or clearing tables and buffet stations

Skills

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is highly desirable; experience with fine dining or catering is a plus
• Strong knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures to ensure a hygienic environment
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health standards
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor for in-person interactions
• Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory levels
• Knowledge of wine pairing or beverage service is advantageous but not required
• Experience with POS systems for processing payments accurately
• Ability to handle manual tasks such as lifting trays or boxes of supplies safely and comfortably
• Familiarity with banquet or catering setups enhances your versatility in this role
