Hotel Breakfast Attendant

Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a delicious, high-quality breakfast buffet, ensuring all food safety standards are met, and providing exceptional in-person customer service. Your energy and dedication will help set the tone for our guests’ day, making their stay memorable from the moment they wake up.

Duties

• Prepare and replenish breakfast items, including hot and cold dishes, beverages, and accompaniments, following established recipes and presentation standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and food stations, adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures
• Operate kitchen equipment such as toasters, coffee machines, warming trays, and food warmers safely and efficiently
• Assist with food handling tasks, including portioning, plating, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients to prevent spoilage
• Ensure compliance with food safety management practices and dietary guidelines to serve safe and allergen-aware meals

Requirements

• Previous experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety sanitizing procedures is essential
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as lifting trays or boxes of supplies safely
• Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment like coffee makers, toasters, and warming units
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly in-person demeanor
• Strong understanding of food industry standards related to hygiene, safety, and dietary accommodations
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as part of a dynamic hospitality team

Pay: $14.55 - $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
