Hotel Buggy Driver

Role Description The Hotel Buggy Driver role is a full-time, on-site position located at Le Domaine de l'Orangeraie Resort & Spa in La Digue and Inner Islands, Seychelles. The individual in this role transports guests and their luggage safely and efficiently around the resort using electric buggies, ensuring a welcoming and courteous experience at all times. Daily tasks include performing basic vehicle checks, keeping buggies clean and well-presented, and following resort routes and schedules. The role also involves assisting guests with information about resort facilities, coordinating with front office and housekeeping teams for timely pickups and drop-offs, and adhering to all safety, traffic, and resort policies. The Hotel Buggy Driver is expected to maintain a professional appearance, respond promptly to guest requests, and contribute to a smooth and enjoyable guest experience throughout their stay.

Qualifications

• Valid driving license and safe driving record, with confidence operating buggies or similar vehicles.
• Strong customer service orientation, polite communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with diverse guests.
• Basic understanding of vehicle safety checks and willingness to report maintenance issues promptly.
• Ability to follow schedules, resort routes, and instructions, with good time management and reliability.
• Physical ability to assist with luggage handling and frequent movement around the resort.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
• Team-oriented mindset, able to collaborate with front office, guest services, and housekeeping staff.
• Previous experience in hospitality, transportation, or guest-facing roles is an advantage.
• Basic spoken English; knowledge of additional languages commonly used by resort guests is a plus.
