Hotel Duty Manager

About Us:
At Roebuck Bay Hotel, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional hospitality experiences in the heart of Broome. we are seeking an experienced hospitality professional to join our team as a Hotel Duty Manager. Overseeing our hotel services team, ensuring financial profitability, maintaining and improving established procedures, and a commitment to staff development and training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure adherence to established standards and procedures.
• Address facilities maintenance, cleanliness, and safety concerns promptly and effectively.
• Manage the Property Management System to keep it aligned with industry trends and technological advancements.
• Ensure the financial profitability of assigned departments through effective budget planning and expense control measures.
• Conduct regular meetings with departments to provide feedback and support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the Marketing and Events Department on promotional initiatives and marketing plans.
• Train, develop, and supervise hotel staff to maintain a high level of service excellence.
• Analyse departmental performance metrics and implement action plans for improvement.
• Uphold safety and compliance standards, including fire safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
• Ensure WHS compliance for the hotel.
• Complete tasks delegated by the General Manager and actively contribute to a positive work culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in property management systems and relevant software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to adapt and make decisions under pressure.
• Current unrestricted C Class driver’s license.
• Diploma of Hospitality Management or equivalent industry experience preferred.
• Relevant experience in hotel or accommodation management, with supervisory experience preferred.
