Hotel Event Operation Assistant

About the role

Hotel Event Operation Assistant role involves coordinating and managing all aspects of event operations, from initial planning through to completion. You will be responsible for supervising events, ensuring smooth execution, and delivering high-quality experiences that meet client and attendee expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate rehearsals, venue setup, guest arrival, event proceedings, and dismantling activities
• Be present during events to supervise operations and resolve issues promptly
• Set up event spaces, manage equipment, and ensure all necessary materials are in place
• Provide support and address inquiries or issues that may arise
• Lead teams to ensure tasks are completed on time and aligned with event schedules
• Deliver high-quality events that meet the expectations of clients and attendees
• Communicate with the housekeeping and maintenance team
• Carry out any other duties as and when required

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Event Management, Business Administration or a related field; minimum SPM or equivalent
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship or event experience are welcome
• Proficient in English and/or Bahasa Melayu
• Good organizational and coordination skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up
• Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• Possess a valid driving licence and be comfortable driving for work-related travel
