Hotel Front Desk Agent

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest services, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of hospitality management, and the ability to handle guest inquiries with professionalism. Multilingual abilities and hotel experience are highly valued to enhance guest relations and provide a welcoming environment for diverse clientele.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
• Manage reservations using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
• Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
• Handle guest requests, complaints, and inquiries promptly and courteously
• Maintain accurate guest records and billing information
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction
• Conduct night audits when scheduled, balancing accounts and preparing reports
• Uphold phone etiquette standards while managing multi-line phone systems
• Assist in promoting hotel services and amenities to enhance guest experience
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures at all times

Experience

• Prior experience in hospitality management or front desk operations preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse guests effectively
• Knowledge of hotel management systems and reservation software preferred
• Experience in resort or hotel environments is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and professional demeanor
• Ability to handle night audit responsibilities if required
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced hospitality setting is beneficial
