Hotel Front Desk Agent

Job Summary

As a Hotel Front Desk Agent, you’ll welcome guests, manage check-ins and checkouts, and help each stay run smoothly. You’ll answer questions, coordinate guest services, and resolve concerns with clear, courteous communication. This role suits someone who enjoys hospitality and can stay organized while balancing guest needs and front desk tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, process arrivals and departures, and maintain accurate reservations and guest records.
• Use hospitality reservation systems and property management systems (PMS), including OPERA where applicable, to update bookings and process payments.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns, coordinate with hotel teams, and provide helpful local and property information.
• Handle phone communication with professional phone etiquette and support night audit duties as assigned.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures and protect guest privacy and safety.

Skills

• Essential: Customer service, front desk or guest services experience, strong client communication, and customer service problem-solving.
• Essential: Clear phone communication, attention to detail, and a calm, welcoming approach to guest relations.
• Preferred: Hotel experience, resort experience, or background in hospitality management or hotel management.
• Preferred: Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems, PMS, OPERA, and night audit.
• knowledge of hospitality and hotel emergency procedures is an asset.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 – 40.0 per week
