Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling
• Assist customers with product demos, answering questions about store products and features to enhance their shopping experience
• Upsell complementary products and services to maximize sales opportunities in a friendly manner
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented according to merchandising standards
• Maintain accurate cash drawer handling and perform basic math calculations for transactions and refunds
• Provide bilingual support when needed to serve a diverse customer base effectively

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail sales transactions
• Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer service abilities
• Supervising experience in retail or grocery environments is a plus, demonstrating leadership qualities
• Ability to conduct product demos confidently and educate customers about store offerings
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and stock management practices
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Familiarity with grocery store or retail sales environments enhances adaptability in fast-paced settings

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
