Best Western Plus in North Canton is looking for a dependable, friendly, and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. This position is the first point of contact for our guests and plays an important role in creating a welcoming and positive hotel experience.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, comfortable working independently, and genuinely enjoys helping people.

Job Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Check guests in and out accurately and efficiently.
• Make, modify, and cancel reservations.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist with reservation and hotel inquiries.
• Process payments, credit cards, cash transactions, and deposits accurately.
• Maintain an accurate front desk cash drawer.
• Assist guests with questions, requests, directions, and local information.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and work to resolve issues quickly.
• Communicate maintenance and housekeeping issues to the appropriate department.
• Coordinate with housekeeping regarding room status and guest needs.
• Promote Best Western Rewards and assist with guest enrollments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area.
• Complete required shift reports, logs, and paperwork.
• Follow hotel policies regarding guest privacy, room keys, payments, safety, and security.
• Communicate important information to the next shift and hotel management.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and unusual situations.
• Perform other reasonable front desk duties as assigned by management.

What We're Looking For

• Friendly, professional, and guest-service focused.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Comfortable using computers and learning hotel software.
• Able to multitask and remain calm during busy periods.
• Able to handle guest complaints professionally.
• Detail-oriented and able to accurately handle money and payments.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Hotel or customer-service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Schedule

Hotel operations are 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Applicants should have reasonable scheduling flexibility.

Typical shifts include:

7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Weekend and holiday availability may be required.
